There is a wide variety of flowering trees that do well in Lakeside including a few with low water needs

Plumerias attract lovely butterflies, hummingbirds, and most of all, us! Their unique island scent is simply intoxicating.
Citrus trees such as this orange tree have lovely sweet smeling blossoms and do very well in Lakeside
Stone fruit can do well here and bloom beautifully but best to find varieties which need less cold time
Mexican Bird of Paradise has lacy foliage, pretty flowers, and needs very little water
